We Are Architects, Planning Consultants And Project Supervisors

Our passion is three generations deep. Our grandfather, a school teacher and a land surveyor taught our father how to survey properties when he was a boy. This time spent with his father sparked a curiosity within him. A curiosity that continues to burn brightly to this day. And so, our father has been in the construction industry, building houses since the 1980’s. Growing up, as children we would emulate how our father would observe and analyse every house we passed. With passionate curiosity we would study each building and ask ourselves, “Was that successful? Could it have been done in a simpler way that would result in a better outcome?” It was these questions that sent us on this trajectory, resulting in MORE Architecture’s conception.

If we are lucky enough to work with you on your project and guide you on this journey, you will see how we place professionalism and design on the highest pediment. Our buildings are beautifully designed, are suited for the Irish climate, cost effective to build and are perfect for our clients to live in. Rory O'Reilly

Architectural Technologist - Director

Rory is a registered member of the Royal Institute of Architects Ireland, a graduated from TU Dublin in 2008. Rory quickly found employment in his home town of Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Here he built experience, working with planning authorities, processing Planning Permissions Applications.

During his down time Rory was constantly up-skilling in areas such as photography and 3D visualisation. As a result, now as a practice MORE Architecture can provide 3D images along with your design as a part of the standard package. 3D Imagery make it so much easier to visualise your future home.

Ian O'Reilly

Architect - A.T - Director

Ian is a registered member of the Royal Institute of Architects Ireland. Ian graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2009 as an architect. Ian initially graduated from W.I.T as an architectural technologist. He decided to extend his time in Waterford by signing up for the architecture degree. After graduating in 2009 as an architect Ian quickly gained experience in Planning Permission consultancy while working for an architectural practice in Virgina, Co. Cavan. However, it wasn’t long before the call of larger projects came knocking on Ian’s door. He decided to emigrate to London where he would have the opportunity to work on large scale projects for high end clients.

The experience earned from his time in London allows the team to be able to deliver a very high level of design and customer service

Gary O'Reilly

Building Surveyor and Ex-Contractor

Gary O’Reilly has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry operating as a contractor and timber frame specialist. Gary learned his timber frame craft in Boston during the 80’s recession and upon his return pioneered the timber frame industry in Ireland firstly as a sole trader but later formed Riverview Timber Frame Specialists.

Riverview’s project portfolio included single one-off rural houses, medium scale residential developments and commercial projects with a strong focus on sustainability. Riverview also developed a number of high-performance building envelop solutions as economical products to far surpass even current day Building Regulations in respect to thermal performance and air tightness.

Gary, now heads up the BIM (Building Information Modelling) and the Revit management side of the practice
