How To Get In Touch
There are two options when it comes to starting the process.
Option 1 is to meet us in our office in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath for an introductory meeting.
Option 2 is to meet us at your property for an onsite design consultation.
You can find out more about these options below.
Meet in our office for an Introductory Meeting.
Generally we start the process with an Introductory Meeting.
The reason why we have this initial meeting is to discuss; the brief for your project, your budget and to show you some examples of our previous projects and most important for you, what our fees are and how long each stage will take. This consultation is completely complimentary as it is really just an introduction.
This meeting lays out everything you need to know to get your project moving in the right direction.
So, If this sounds like something you would be interested in at this point, then click the book now button and fill out your details when prompted. We will take it from there.
Do you need some ideas for your project but don’t want to sign up for all the bells and whistles? Why not pick our Architect’s brain for an hour or two?
We all know of someone who has built their house or bought a house that turns out to be dark, cold, not enough storage, rooms in wrong locations, rooms are so disconnected from another that they are never used, hallways are too big and have no real function and so on.
The Perfect Solution is to invite an Architect to visit your project so you can pick their brain.
If you don’t want to sign up to the full architectural service you can now book an architect for a morning or an evening. During this time you have unlimited access to our architect who is fully focused on delivering you ideas, solutions, and advice that is completely bespoke to your project.
The Introductory Meeting usually lasts for about 90 minutes and is a generalised overview of everything you need to know about the process of building. Anyone can avail of this. However, we don’t go into the specifics of design in this meeting.
The On-Site Design Consultation is usually for those of you who already have a house or are buying a property with the intentions to renovate and/or extend and you want advice specific to your project.
We charge for the On-Site Design Consultation because our Architect has to stop his current work and leave the office to spend time with you on-site. Also during this time, our architect will provide you with sketched ideas that are the intellectual property of the architect and therefore we need to charge for this service.
The On-Site Design Consultation is charged at an hourly rate of €150+VAT
The VAT that is applied is 23%
An hour can be enough, but an hour will go by very fast. Previous clients have recommended two hours as the perfect length of time.
If your project is located more than 10km from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath there will be travel expenses of €0.45 per kilometre.

Our Happy Clients
My husband and I contacted More Architecture to help us get started with our forever home as we had absolutely no idea where to begin or how the whole process worked. We met Rory for a free consultation initially and straight away we had a better idea of where to go and what was possible for us. On the back of this we hired them to do the initial designs for our house and we were delighted with the concept design booklet they presented to us. We felt they really put in a lot of time and effort to design a beautiful house for us while keeping things realistic (for planning applications) and within the planned budget. They have always been prompt with replies and easy to contact, we highly recommend them!
We have nothing but positive things to say about all at MORE Architecture. While we are only in the early stages of the planning process, it is clear that Ian and all the team strive to commuinicate clearly and efficiently. The attention to detail is superb, they have managed to deliver every detail of our brief and more after only a couple of video calls and a few emails! We look forward to working with Ian and all the team in the months ahead. We highly recommend MORE Architecture, you won't have any regrets in appointing them.

I knew I had made the right choice with More Architecture when Ian called out for the site visit. Immediately he understood the specific nature and character of the existing site and the need to design the house around it's particular beauty. I was relieved when Ian said the house needed to be a low lying bungalow, something I felt myself, but kept hearing from others that bungalows are too expensive and that I should go two-story. This gave me the confidence to proceed with my own wishes. This is something priceless and I believe the mark of a great architect. In the end More designed the perfect house for us. I would highly recommend More for anyone going for a new build or a refurb.
Excellent service provided by Ian and the lads. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they took everything we had asked for our plans into account and executed it perfectly. Would highly recommend MORE Architecture
Having decided to build, I meet with More Architecture for a free consultation. I first met with Rory, and within an hour of the first meeting, I decided to trust the lads and on their suggestion got them to do a concept drawing. I found all involved to be very agreeable, a detailed breakdown of costings and no pressure as to how much or how little involvement the lads were to have. I gave them a comprehensive wish list which would be near impossible to accomplish and from the first draft they got it perfect, they certainly listen to the client and then add there own expertise. I usually do not leave reviews, but for two reasons I have, firstly they deserve the recognition for the for me, it was a huge decision to put my trust and money into a firm who would ultimately have responsibility for designing a home. I want to give my honest opinion of how the lads made the process very relaxed and stress-free and the whole process an enjoyable one.
We were recommended MORE and we have not been disappointed. We are living in the UK and hoping to build in Ireland, after only a few phone calls Ian has delivered an impressive pre planning presentation. He has totally grasped what we envisage for our dream home.
