Multidisciplinary artist and printmaker with a background in Urbanism design and Landscape architecture. Originally from Lithuania, Vaida works and lives in Dublin since 2007.
In 2015, Vaida completed BA (Honours) Fine art at TU Dublin. In the same year Vaida received the Graphic Studio Dublin Graduate Award, since then she is an active member of Graphic Studio Dublin.
Vaida constantly improves her skills in the field of printmaking participating in various residencies and workshops. She works in a broad range of printed techniques such as Intaglio etching, lithography, digital printing, and recently she started using woodblock printing (mokuhanga) technique after participation at the residency MI-LAB at Lake Kawaguchi Japan.
Vaida has exhibited in numerous group shows around Ireland and internationally. Her work was acquired by OPW, China Printmaking Museum, Trinity College Dublin and private art collectors worldwide including MORE Architecture Ltd.
